How do I get Home?

I know we are still waiting on the completion of the " radio comms.". I assume it will have a request to vector back to base. However, I noticed a radio becon in the objects. Not that I am aware of how to use it, but can we use it to " vector back to base " ? If so how ?

I guess it works similar to IL2:1946 with the TD patches: placing a beacon on the map via the FMB and then tuning in.

However, i don't think any of the fighters carry the relevant radio navigation equipment, it would only be useful in the twin engined aircraft.

Thanks for the follow up. If the North American release date is not postpones , I hope some of the basic elements of the sim are activated for the release.
