Why are tailwheels able to lock only on a couple of planes? Is that historical? Or a bug? And if it's a bug, what's it's priority? When can be reasonably expect it to be fixed?

Bug? What kind of bug?
Tail wheel lock is exsist on german planes. For example: Tail Wheel lock in Bf 109 G-2 (http://www.pumaszallas.hu/Private/VO101_Tom/tailwheel_lock.jpg). Very simple solution, what kept the airplane in a straight while its tail did not rise away.

Edit: I remembered badly, this is missing really in the COD (I never use it).

A lot of aircraft didn't have lockable tailwheels and as such, i assume they will not have one in the sim either. I think most of what we have in the sim currently lacked a lockable tailwheel in reality.
