Hi All,
After the latest Patch the PP Axis for the 109 is reversed.
But i think everybody knows that allready...
BUT i do have a PP in the Hurri ROTOL, wich is quite strange, cause i thought
that the rotol was the constant speed Prop, or am i completely wrong here?
About the 109 PP Axis ; the way it works right now is great , but i need to reverse the Axis while flying the 109.
And vice versa when swichting back to other planes...
This cant be a feature, or is it?

Just create another keybinding profile for the 109 and 110. Simply swap the increase and decrease pitch keybindings you are presently using. Save the profile with an appropriate name. When you fly either the 109 or 110 load this profile. When you fly anything else load your usual profile. You can load keybinding profiles at anytime. Doing it this way keeps your keybindings/HOTAS settings the same and gives you the same effect for all types.

About the 109, you seem to have read the relevant threads and know enough about it, plus IvanK gave you a good temporary solution until they fix the control reversal in another patch, so i have nothing new to add.
About the Hurricane now:

The behaviour is correct and Rotol is indeed the CSP. But what does CSP mean? It means a propeller that maintains constant RPM (which is set by the pilot) by changing its pitch automatically, usually done by a mechanism of hydraulics and/or inertial components.
The "can't change the pitch at all" kind of prop is called fixed pitch prop and it's the simpler one.
The 109-style prop is called variable pitch prop, the pilot selects the pitch directly.
The Rotol is a constant speed prop, the pilot moves the lever until his RPM gauge shows what he wants to use and then leaves it there. The prop will automatically maintain RPM to the best of its abilities. It can still over-rev (if airspeed is too high) or under-rev (if running the engine on idle on the ground), but generally it's a set and forget type of thing.

Thanks for your help guys.
I will try the different profiles as a temp. solution.
And thanks again for the rotol info.
I wasnt aware that you could set something with a rotol prop.
My real flying exp. in RL is Glider and ultralight, and none of them has a
prop pitch :)

I've just noticed the spit mk Ia now seems to have a two speed prop.
I can't select the RPM any more. It just jumps from the top of the slider to the bottom like the DH two speed prop on the mkI.
I'm sure it should have a CSP like the Rotol hurricane or the spit mk IIa
There seems to be no difference between the spit mk1 and spit mk1a now.

I do reverse the prop pitch control (actually "un-reverse" it) when I fly 109 but I also think that it's a PITA. The on-screen indicator should move the same way as the prop handle does in the cockpit animation, not in reverse.
Creating profiles doesnt change anything: you still have to switch to the 109 profile, instead of reversing the control. Just as much of a PITA.
A profile would be a solution if the game automatically loaded control profiles based on player's plane, but as long as you have to manually switch profiles, it makes no difference if you have profiles or just reverse the prop pitch control when flying 109/110.
OK, it isn't a big deal.
It takes like 5 seconds to reverse/unreverse the prop pitch control, but I still I think that most users would appreciate a reversed DB prop pitch (I know I will) so please devs include it in next update (or as soon as possible, anyway).
Thanks
