Purchased IL2 when it first came out and at that time also purchased a Logiteck 3d pro,
together they worked very well,
the joystick has been sitting around for a couple years now.

I just acquired Cliffs of Dover and Battle of Stal,
pulled the joy stick out blew the dust off and began to fly (or thought I would) the controls are uncontrollable,
went in to set up the control and when I start to move any control the indicator will slide as you move the stick,
but at about 1/2 way it slams all the way, question is there something I am doing wrong or is it time for a new stick.

Thanks
Bill

probably time for a new stick, but there are a couple of things you could try

you could try cleaning the potentiometers inside- dust may have got in or the track may have deteriorated over time-been sitting. spraying electrical switch cleaner down the shaft and operating the pot several times MAY help.

you could also try recalibration
devices and printers> r click on logitech joystick tile. click on the settings tab and then the calibrate button.
if after this the movement is erratic in the test tab, then go get a new stick
