No offense, but why dedicate a slaughter of defiants to the Defiant? This should be a 110 tribute :P not that my oppinion matters :P anyways, Great video :D

nice clip but the Defiants were about as useless in the Battle of Britain as the whole Italian Airforce!

Btw m8, Just Finished watching all 65 episodes on your interview with the ju87 pilot. i must say a truly great man and a great opportunity you had there :)

im just wondering if your planning to release it all as a complete movie with all episodes lined up cronologically :)

that documentary/interview is a masterpiece and i would love to buy a copy :)

IIRC, the Defiant's didn't do so badly in their first few combats when they were attacked from astern. They only started to suffer serious losses when the LW responded by using attacks from ahead or beneath where they were hopeless. The Me-110 in the video makes stern attacks and probably wouldn't have had such an easy job IRL.

It's still a wonderfully daft aircraft. I really wish it was a flyable.

Thanks TeeJay!:)

Yes I dearly miss Dr Migeod as our work was not finished. I still get e-mails of relatives who flew with him during the war and saw some of the vids. I still visit his wife occasionally.

Regarding a consolidated film: I do not plan to make a consolidated film of the interviews. You can download from youtube in some way, just google. Maybe I can consolidate the complete interview in 6x 30 minute videos and upload them to storage site for free downloads.

Again it's impressive. It shows what CoD is if it's sorted out. Nice, seeing these vids keeps me with this 'game '.

Thanks Tinus - a superb production, as always!

Amazingly I gave you a "prod" on your YouTube "page" this morning (to get your next clip out - I have a special folder for your one's!) - little did I know that you had probably just posted the clip here!

Very nicely done, you have a good eye for detail. For example, the independently working suspension is visible as the Defiants start accelerating and then rolling down the runway.

Enjoined the video.

Is this a mission that you made?

If so where to get this?

To may knowledge, the "day of glory" of the Daffy over Dunkirk was mosstly due to overclaiming and not running into too many fighters.

I would really like to see a clip of the Daffy in it's intended role as a bomber formation destroyer.

I just wanted to add that I found your website http://www.heinzmigeod.com/
and all I can say is "WOW". The interviews there were incredible. Thank you so much for doing all of that work. You really preserved a little slice of history there. Nice job. My son and I had a good time watching the interviews, and viewing all of the supporting pages.

It sells itself. If they play any other version they will come later. They will get on their once bangin server and it will be like.

Thanks!:)

I make small missions just for the purpose of filmmaking but they are unsuitable for normal gameplay:(

Your films are fantastic, but I couldn't help thinking that this wasn't quite as good as the Wellington, armour and Dornier vids you posted.

Keep 'em coming though, I just love 'em!

Outstanding video again biltongbru, well done.
Your interviews with Heinz were extraordinary as well, he seems to have been the archetypal Prussian officer. I got a real sense from the interview why the Canadians assessed him as being a man meriting close attention whilst held captive- it would have been interesting to have argued with him ;-)
