This ack emma I got a Logictech ad in my email box & it reminded me that it is ,perhaps, time to replace my now failing & falling apart old Logictech wired in gaming headphones that are 10+ years old.Rather than simply ordering immediately on of the new earphones pictured I thought I might appeal to the expertise found here.Back when I ordered these old ones ,one of the selling points was keying in voice commands instead of keyboarding themfo sims like Il-2.I haven't used this feature for years & don't even know if it still is viable. I am an almost exclusive SP in this & RoF & BoS,and would like a wireless set of headphones to eliminate some of the rat's nest at my feet.I do want reasonably good sound ,not only for the sim sounds but also for the music ( I tend towards Korngold symphonic soundtracks for back ground but also British bands of the period,) but I am not interested in paying a fortune for the absolute best.So something reasonable under $100.00 that I can order directly or through Amazon.Oh I have to be able to attach Track IR clip to them too ,which probably isn't a big deal.
Ideas?

Do you use your headphones solely for comms or gameplay as well?

Logitech G35 headset is awesome and you won't be disappointed.

Might cost more that you would want, but its something you would always use, and for more than games.

If 5.1 suround sounds important Speedlink Medusa are comfortable and have perforated ear shells to keep your ears cool.

I've found that the best gaming equipment is Razer..
