View Full Version : FSAA working as it should for anyone?

While it "seems" better than before the beta patch, for me its still not working as it should.
To me it looks like...
1X = 0X
2X = 1X
4X = 2X
8X = 4X
Though to be honest 4X and 8X hardly look any better than 2X.
Has anyone got FSAA working right yet?

I'm not sure what method of AA the game uses. I applied 8x and it did have some effect but it was subtle. I think the game might use the shader anti-aliasing method which is more performance friendly but is less effective than traditional methods.

we have a couple of AA-Threads. But to your question: no, it doesn´t work for me still after beta patch with true fullscreensupport. 2xAA have some effect to some elements. Thats all.

It's working but it has a light touch.
4x in-game roughly equates to what I would expect from 2x if forced by my card.
