In IL2 you could toggle fps. Is there a similar key command in CLOD?

Thanks

Same as IL2, bring up the console and type: fps START SHOW

However I have yet to figure out how to shut it off now as the old command: fps STOP SHOW does not appear to work.

Same as in IL-2: Shift + Tab.

maybe for some...I found I had to assign a key-press in the Options/controls menu to bring up the console

I assigned a key-combo to bring up the console.

ON= fps START SHOW

OFF = fps HIDE (or fps STOP SHOW)

BTW= In console type: Help FPS to see all possible commands:

fps [START|STOP] [SHOW|HIDE] [LOG
]

Typing only Help (or ?) you see all console commands.

Console commands in CloD is same of IL-2 (Same base engine?)

Shift-tab brings up annoying steam interface for me. I assigned console to the tilde key ` and now it's all good.

IIRC you can also program the fps command to come up automatically if you edit the rtf file in the game directory. It's the same procedure that IL-2 was.

You can turn off steam interface in steam options. BTW, there is no need every time print "fps START SHOW". Press "up arrow" on cursor, and console show last command (even if you type it several days ago).

OFF = fps STOP HIDE

Hide just hides. Stop just stops.
