I've been struggling a bit to optimise my track ir profile... be nice if folks who are happy with theirs could maybe share them here.

Please upload your profiles! :)

Thanks.

I use Charvel's profile (for Il2 46) works for me :)

Do a google for it, not sure which site I got it from.

Here's a link to his thread: http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=384

You will need to register it's quick and painless :)

here is mine. Use speed 1.6 and smoothness 30

I found that I could use the same profile I used for the old IL-2, just lowering the 'speed' slider from 1 to 0.5
(thx tf_Ziggy for this tip)

I use the same, modified for individual taste. Really really good profile to start with indeed.
I saw CharveL around here, so mighty thanks for that!

Dude, thanks a lot, this is a really good profile, smoothest I've tried so far. I use it with speed 1 though.

As read elsewhere. Natural point seems to be working on a new profile for Cod, they only get little info to finish it up.

I've heavily modified it to suit CoD since then so I'll upload it as soon as I get a chance (posting from an iPhone ATM). Keep in mind it's very sensitive to how far away you sit.

The deadzone has just enough movement so you can adjust for the wobble in game but is small enough to allow smooth movement throughout the whole range. Only problem to keep in mind is you'll need to recenter every 5 minutes or so as you settle into your chair over time but it makes for a very good shooting platform, often without needing to 'tighten straps'.

Here's what I'm currently using. Again, keep in mind that it's pretty specific to the distance you sit back from the TIR unit so it may require adjustments to your specific preferences but it's a good template to work off of if it doesn't suit you out of the box.

Save it as an .xml file (create notepad doc then copy/paste this in there and rename file to CharveL.xml) in your "program files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles

have you tried the default profile in the recent TrackIr software. With a few tweeks, it works perfectly with COD. I was messing around for days with my old IL2 1946 profile and others from kind donaters on this forum and i just find that this default profile is easily the best (i have a TrackIR 3 with vector enabled) . . . . . . . .
