Hurricane Mirrors?

Wondering where the mirrors are for the Hurricane? I don't seem to be able to activate them as I can for the Spitfire.... Is this a bug?

Certainly Hurricanes in the Battle were equipped with mirrors.

Not sure about CoD, but in IL-2 1946, the mirror toggle mode could be set in the control options menu (mine is set to Ctrl-M). See if you can find such a menu. That would be a good first step.

Yes, I have programmed mirrors into my config, and am able to activate the Spit's mirrors with a button press. Nothing happens when I press the same button while flying the Hurri.

I think what Buzz means is that there is NO mirror in the Hurricane Scott

Oh! Now I get you.

In that case, it could well be a bug. Not sure what else you should do.
Best I can think of is bring it to the attention of Oleg or Luthier if you can. They can fix it in the next patch if they're not bogged too far down in other things.

the weird thing about this is that the Hurricane mirror is visible in the external model, but not from the cockpit.

I also have to add the mirrors on the Spitfire are completely useless.

I have an extremely good system:

Asus P67 deluxe motherboard
Intel Core I7 2600k
G-Force EVGA GTX-570 superclocked
8 Gigs DDR3 1600
WD Caviar Black 1TB X 2 in RAID, WD Green 2 TB Data storage

I am able to run the game on nearly the highest settings, but my mirror is completely useless for looking behind, it shows tearing and horizontal lines which make it impossible to see anything behind.

Both the Spitfire and Hurricane mirrors should be useful aids in combat. Both should be present.

I think there are mirrors in the external model for the Hurricane; they just aren't implemented in the internal model...

I actually think it's a bug.

I was flying a hurricane in a mission last night, There were no mirrors on my plane but when I dove ( I think I was over the ocean at the time) the mirror frame started to flash in to view and then vanishing.

This happened a number of times. I'll see if I can replicate it and get a track.

That opinion was not shared by a lot of pilots.. Some felt the vibrations made it very difficult to see and if you ever did see a fighter there it was too late at that point :)
