PITA to line up a shot with trackir and no ability to lock the view slightly off center. anyone have a fix for this?

Use the 'Loosen Shoulder Straps' command (i.e. gunsight view).

when centered hit f9 to pause tir and lock your view, Ive got it on a hat switch on the stick. you only need to hit it when shooting, obviously :)

you could just also just have the TIR toggle bound to the same key.

I too getting fed up with constant centering trackir in the bf109...in il-2 works perfect.. ..maybe im having a bad day with this .. last thing on my mind when a spit is driving and turning is to center trackir ...HALF THE TIME I CANT EVEN SEE MY CROSS-HIRES

Old IL2 doesn't have 6DOF support. In this game you have to lean slightly to the right. Just get used to it!

bind a key to the loosen shoulder strap command - though it's annoying you dont keep full range of view like in il2 (It's almost the wrong way round - loosen shoulder straps should give beter range of movement sureley - whereas straped in you would struggle to check six....

N+++Z :-P

I guess we're going to be hearing the old (now legendary) "shift-F1" n++b-fest for another ten years :)

It brings a tear to my eyes every time lol :)

Note that when you loosen the straps it simulates you leaning on the padding, so your body is steady to the gunsight.
