runtime error on installing

Hi

My friend has installed MoW on his pc (he is running vista) he gets an error while installing " r6034 runtime library visual c++"

After clicking ok it carries on installing, but when it has finished he is unable to play internet games, it doesnt give option for game spy.

Any ideas?
