Secure Cloud-to-Cloud File Transfers

Lately I've been dealing with transfers between a couple of cloud accounts, and the security side of it is stressing me out more than the actual file management. Some of my work files contain sensitive project data, so I’m not comfortable relying only on whatever built-in protection each service promises. I’d feel much better if I could keep everything encrypted on my side before anything gets moved around. Ideally, I want a setup where I can manage multiple cloud accounts together but still control the encryption myself. Has anyone gone down that route?
