So I've been playing quick missions the entire time because I've heard that the single player camp is bugged so much, has it been fixed yet?

I've heard mention of a user fix of sorts but not sure. |

I think the missing missions in the RAF campaign are not a bug. I have a hunch that certain missions only happen depending on the outcome of previous ones. Like for example, if you succeed in mission 7 you get mission 8a, but if you fail mission 7 you get mission 8b as the next sortie.

I can't complete the first mission with a spitfire (the mission after transfer to new base). I need to takeoff, fly around and land back. Even tried with a auto pilot (AI to complete the mission), but nothing happens.
Any idea? |

I have had many problems with the single player campaign. Most noticable one is that my plane is MUCH slower than any enemy plane. In the Spitfire, I have a hard time keeping up with, much less catching enemy planes. I don't fly with the complex engine managment on, and notice that when I turn on the autopilot I seem to go faster.
Also, as I usually only have short amounts of time that I can play, I use the "start mission in flight" so that I dont have to spend 5 minutes getting off the ground and up to altitude. However, if I do that and have a mission where I have to escort bombers to Calais or such, my group starts much farther ahead, and we dont wait for the bombers. I have lost 2 missions due to the AI having the intelligence of a drunk monkey. Sure do hope they address these issues. I wont even go into the loading of our own ammo preferences or skins.... |

I had to fly that mission twice and ended up letting the autopilot do the mission for me.
