4.09 soon?

At the chance of being factious, when is 4.09 anticipated?

I'll head off the cynics and state, TWO WEEKS!!!

Is it delayed due to the "Hacks" ?

Is it delayed waiting for 3rd party product?

Is it delayed because everyone at Maddox Games is on vacation in warm tropical location?

With SOW:BOB not coming out till '08 wouldn't it be a heck of a consolation to offer 4.09 to the public before Christmas?

Come on Oleg, we know you're not the Grinch!!! Can you let us know when you think it will be ready? are you in beta with it yet?

I think we are waiting on the completion of the Slovakia map.

maps are done just waiting on them to finish testing. maybe 3 or 4 weeks more

yes in one of Olegs post he stated that the maps were done and they were being sent up for testing.

well we all hope for last 4.09 patch for IL-2
and I realy hope that will increase number of players more than 32 in COOP missions
it is crucilal for all SEOW players

I really hope that the patch will do something against modding/cheating.

Otherwise lots of people will leave IL-2 before BoB is ready (I know some people that already did that), and who knows if the will rejoin when BoB is ready....

Modding is all IL-2 has going for it at this time. With the release of BoB being consistently pushed back, people want to keep IL-2 going, but with out may changes since the release of 1946, people just want more.

This is the reason Microsoft's Combat Flight Sim is still going rather strong.

I doubt that Microsofts Combat sims are still going strong. Their forums are almost dead with the only people there are modders and others who don't know about the IL-2 series. Sure alot of people bought their sims including me but CFS3 killed the series for most people.
