Lost my password and my login

Hi,

I recently wanted to play MoW's multi, but I can't remember at all my account's password and login...Is there anyway I could create a new account, but with the same key code?
The account was something like Imperial_Red_Eagle or Imperial_Gold_Eagle, but I can't remember...

possible we have 2 ways to solve y problem:

1st.

start "regedit.exe" in ...\Windows\ or ...\Windows\System... and navigate to key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\1C\Men of War

on right window y can now see y loginname (without "_") and y MoW key.

2nd.
y accountname and password will be saved in
version 1.11.4: ...my documents\my games\men of war\profiles\your profile\settings.set
version 1.16.4: ...my documents\my games\outfront2 a2\profiles\your profile\settings.set

make a copy from all files in ...my documents\my games\...

search for all files called settings.set in ...my documents\my games\...
open all found files one by one with windows-editor and navigate to: {gs_users.
in next line y can see y login account name.
when y have an entry in next line like: {password "9c4c217dsss450353900e1d...."} we have good chance to react y password.

start MoW -> create new profile (eg. NEW) -> exit MoW
copy "settings.set" (which containt {password "9c4c217dsss450353900e1d...."} to
version 1.11.4: ...my documents\my games\men of war\profiles\NEW\settings.set
version 1.16.4: ...my documents\my games\outfront2 a2\profiles\NEW\settings.set
-> start MoW -> connect to MP

Thanks for the answer.
I did what you do, so I found the MoW key in the regedit with my login name, but I can't find the password in the settings.set. There's only this:
{settings
{name Player}
{mp
{gs_users}
{chat_sort sort_name}
And stuff under...


Is it because I uninstalled and reinstalled the game?
Is deleting the regkey the solution?

that are bad news. when y uninstall game -> possible uninstaller also delete y MoW profiles with saved gamespy password.

is "player" the only profile in
...my documents\my games\men of war\profiles... or
...my documents\my games\outfront2 a2\profiles...

when y have more profiles - search in all settings.set.

i know my Gamespy Account Name: Klick Me (use Name that written in Windowsregistry - possible that will work)

i have nothing - only MoW CD-Key: Klick Me (& ask Support what Gamespy Account is bount with your MoW CD-Key - possible that y will get y Accountname and Password)

I've already tried to contact the support, but I didn't get any answer... And they banned the account I created to ask...
So I guess I'm stuck then...

Do you think trying to enter a new password in {password "this"} would work?

i think that will not work, because password is encrypted - eg. {password "3c4f12245a5s22..."}

i also think - without password or gamespy account registered e-mail-adress or gamespy-acount-name y have no chance to reactivate y MOW-MP. sry.

edit: have y found any entry in y windows-registry? [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\1C\Men of War]
