When shot down in MP?

When getting shot down in multiplayer is there a way to remove the map and score screen so I can watch as my aircraft plummets to the Earth?

Using the Xbox 360 version.

I don't think it is. It is a bit transparent, but that's just a small consolation. You'll just have to do with watching your target go down
