Kinda wishing I had gone for the I-153 or I-16 now. Should have remembered the Bf109E3 didn't have a cockpit when I offered to fly it, but I can't really change sides now and leave the Condor Legion with no fighter cover

This would be much easier in Il2 1946. We could get all the right planes, and they would all have cockpits. We could even have the right camo's and markings on the planes, but I'm sure this will be a lot fun as it is.

I've had an idea for another plane though. The Republicans used Tupolev SB bombers, so maybe the Il4 or the Blenheim could be used as a substitute? Just an idea.

So to answer both of your questions at the same time, this game will not take place until we do get a German cockpit DLC and hopefully along with it a cockpit view for the I-153? And I'm also on Pacific time (LA Native) so it won't be until we get official word. I know it kinda sucks, but you can always practice with the planes listed before.

EDIT: Also, there are some friends that are willing to join this, and we've been playing around a bit. They all have PS3s and 360s as well, so if we have one console without enough players or something, they can help fill the gaps

Ok, great. I'll have the po-2 later tonight and get some practice.

Ok, good, that will give me some time to unlock the I-153
