I would have welcomed alternate liveries for some planes. But I would hate custom ones. Some people would just butcher the planes like they do with car's in games like Midnight Club, Need for Speed, etc.

Custom skins can be quite good, the best in Il2 1946 are often more historically accurate and far better looking than the default skins. However for every couple of good skins there is some idiot flying around in a day-glow pink or similar fighter, so they are a mixed blessing.

Wasn't or isn't there supposed to be some skins coming out or something? I dunno, maybe I'm just starting to imagine things?
