Multiplayer bomber use?

Sorry for the newbie post but the other thing i was curious about is if bombers play any role in multipayer missions? I am a big fan of the bomber.

Yes, in Strike. Don't know how much it takes to take out a target though, I haven't gotten to experiment with a full sized bomber yet.

I often play as a bomber in dogfights and try and gun down fighters, its a good laugh

I haven't actually gotten to play strike much yet,which is disappointing considering I too am a big fan of bombers. I keep looking for open rooms, but I think most people like dogfights.

That's because no one wants to drag-ass in a bomber, and really. Unless you have good fighter support (me of course... Can you say big ego

) then your probably going to get chewed up by those who are the fighters, because you'll be constantly fighting them off rather than bombing.

some one was using a bomber in dogfight and i decieded to shoot him down and got called every name under the sun and accused of boosting, hey if they fly straight and level i dont care i will go after them easy target or not.

Ive run into a few players who use bombers in dogfight mode. The ones that have gotten good with the gunner views can dominate a match. Cool stuff.

i don't mind when fighters shoot me when i'm in a bomber, it's their job! i play games to relax and have a laugh not get upset and angry! life's too short!

I agree i just dont like being accused of cheating.
