sigh: Ok i will check my order with play.com..........packing it says.

I allways find it had to believe how worked up some people get over small things like this. Yes it is nice to have something you have pre-ordered mailed to you the first day of its release, but there isn't anything that says it has to be, and there is very little point getting angry about it. Its just a game. You will have months and months to enjoy it, not just one day. And if you took the day off specificaly to play the game, then you took the risk and lost. Spend the day doing something else you enjoy.

I guess it depends on whether one is a type one personality or not. Part of me is,so I am mighty f****d off. So long as the innocent remain unharmed whats the problem of a minor psychotic episode...

I was stupid enough to believe Australia might have got something earlier than the UK...and its the last minute nature of the delay that leaves one feeling miffed.

has amazon uk worked out OK, because in future I'll go back to using them and get it sent to oz by a mate(would have been cheaper in the first place)

My package has arrived at the airport and is awaiting the UPS driver to bring it to my address.

All i got was what my despatch emails said:

Delivery will normally take between 3 to 5 working days, but can sometimes take a little longer due to postal delays. Please allow 10 full working days before notifying us of any delays in arrival.

Sucks i've never used zavvi before, but with my usual store Game charging so much for this game i thought i'd get the cheaper priced version at Zavvi.

yeah man thats exactly the same for me. However i've heard stories that they do get some games to the customer by release day. So maybe that email is just a standard thing, and maybe our orders are on 1st class?
