Oh YEAH! I almost forgot, ...you guys have me to thank for this.
I silently said a prayer to Jesus last night telling him I just couldn't wait two more weeks for BoP.

Yes! It's gonna be torture for some though, reading about how great the game is on the forums, and having to wait another few days to get it themselves. Thankfully, i think I'm gonna be be one of the lucky ones who gets it on the 2nd, seeing as how I'm buying from Gamestop and I'm in the US.

I really don't preorder or follow a games release that often...

Does anyone know if this might be an error?

If it is an error, then it's a great error if it become reality? Changing my calendar in a couple hours Just incase it is an error?

I used to work at Gamestop.

When something ships without a street date. (To my knowledge there is no street date for IL2)

That means that the stores typically get it the next day. So expect for the stores to have it on the 3rd, (Thursday).

It's weird though, most games always ship on a Monday and it hits shelves on a Tuesday. I hope this isn't some kind of mistake.

I'm going to go check on the 2nd just in case they get it a tad early.

By the way, I went by my local Gamestop and double checked with the store manager that the ship date has indeed changed, instead of being a mistake on their website.

She confirms that her computers also hold the Sept. 2nd release date.

Moving this game up is one of the smartest business decisions that has ever been made for the 360. Pushing a game back generally creates disgust and kills off a lot of interest, but you move a game up and you are the new Messiahs of the gaming world. Based on the demo, it's a great game and it will weed out the little kids fast. I am a pilot, and I put the planes in the demo through a series of tests in terms of flight control. Needless to say, they have an extremely accurate model for low-wing aircraft.
