Yea, the mp #"s are low for consols, that sucks, but it's really gonna be 16 vs 16 with the ai. The ai is gonna make or break this game. Hopefully it's good, playing h-core/co-op, with 3 friends should be good. Sorry for gettin off topic again.
it doesnt matter really , even if arma ships broken like it did on pc 3 years from now it will still be thousands of times better than operation flashpoint

And no , its not going to be "16vs16"

They are trying to actually push the idea that the AI is half decent , its not , if you watch the videos you can see how bad it is , one in particular the player busts down the door of a house to find 2 chinese , he kills them both without even getting shot at.

what its going to be like is 4 players leaving their squads at the spawn to go off and fight , the vehicles are useless with 4 human players, and the map is useless considering you can have one hell of a "match" with 3 buildings and a road.

Okay guys I'm really sorry but this conversation doesn't belong here.

I feel the thread has gone way off topic and should be closed if this keeps up.

Back on topic... I think BoP could sell and get enough support for a sequel.

I don't think it will do Ace Combat numbers, but I think it will sell very well for the genre.

A lot of people I know were pretty stoked after playing the demo, not the sort who had ever even picked up a flight sim before. I'm not sure it will sell loads straight away but I reckon it will do steady business and pick up a following.

Due to the three modes of play the game is highly versatile and accessible. If the multiplayer is good, I believe we will be posting about the release date of BOP2 next year.

AceCombat franchise has been on air over than 14 years already, imagine their experience in Aeriel warfare game would be unbeatable...

seriously i bought my 1 ps3 JUST to play their series but the outcome was really sad.

to beat em up i believe its impossible, we might win da battle but to win da war it will takes real time.

as for me if let say they put one IL-2 & ACX on a rack, i'll rather & undoubtly choose IL-2 coz i'm more interested in WWII aircraft rather than advance aerial warfare.

WWII pioneers, they had contribute so many warefare tecnology that exist today for our daily sake of use.

Like most Italian said: I salute you...

Im guessing it will do better than modern sims like Lock On.... Don't like being killed by a missile flinging enemy so far away he can't be seen.

And when Im old and wear 2 inch thick glasses I'll rant about the good old days when man killed each other with their bare hands and not with fancy weapons

yes indeed, it will be the best to date game when it release, it will be wrecking havoc, GREAT game that lies in shadow...one day those people will see it emerge from da cloud & with pride & glory.

yea & perhaps killing people in the future were only by using a single
button...or worst by summoning their names LOL
