I guanratee by next week the publisher will make the offical announcement that the game is coming Sept 8th.
This happens all the time. When Gamestop changes a release date close to the release they have been told by the publisher to do so. I have been gaming long enough, and following release dates long enough to know this is a fact. Obviously you are clueless.
It is not at all unusual for a publisher to tell Gamestop about a release date before they tell anybody else.
