Basically I tested several different tensile strength springs of varying length and LB ratings. The 350lb springs have just the right amount of strength while still having enough give to give the entire chassis movement when ever the buttkicker goes off or you shift your weight on the pedals or throttle or stick. It really is a cool sensation. You must build one appropriate for your weight, I am 200lb and found this setup to work well with my weight.
The spring mountings are 2 inches into the wood and held in place basically by pressure and gravity. The suspension also adds a much needed almost 7.5" to the height of the rig, which was much to low on its own. So its is a double bonus.

All you need is an ejection seat and it will be perfect!
