So many versions....
And most people don't even know which one they have installed. It's all very confusing.
I believe the ultimate addition is Pacific Fighters + AEP + Original IL2
A more recent CD version would be IL2 1946. But the latest version of that is 4.07.
You can get all the updates at missionfortoday for free. No account needed to go from 4.07 to 4.14.1. But no physical CD exists/
Then there's all the mod offshoots DBW, HSFX, BaT, and probably 5 or six more I just can't think of the names.

Nope, the Ultimate edition has everything1946 has (which includes original Il*2, Forgotten Battles, Pacific Fighters and AEP) and more.
