I'm sad to hear, you had very good inputs. We want a mod where you can go anywhere in the world, not linear. That's why constant growth is necessary, because it is random which map you take first. Inspired by the growth of creatures as in Heroes of Might and MaGIC 4. Also another way could be to lower growth and make the random pool from maps be different, for instance a random pool in the first hero levels could be between 4 easier maps, and random pool later between 4 tougher maps. Then growth could be like half of current. Or players could just play on lower difficulties for lower growth... impossible level has around double growth compared to the easy level.
