Using stationary runway number 4 watch what direction the planes land and then move the runway further into the direction they are landing until they quit hitting the trees.
May or may not work but it should be worth a shot? Wheels

no, made it worse as you cant align the stationary runway properly with the angle of the field, settled for making it a taxi for take off mission ijn and a hit and run for raaf. This map is quirky.
also having fits trying to bomb airfield at wau, bettys constantly climb as if avoiding mountain peaks that are 2000m below them,then when set to waypoints of 300kph ias at 4500m player cant hope to keep up, even supchg 2 and nearly max throttle . something quirky here indeed, tried reducing to 280 kph and a bit better, and dropped to 75% fuel to save some weight. but still everytime there is a jagged peak 1000-2000m below it seems the lead betty starts to climb and also at every waypoint. 2nd and 3rd betty flights are linked to first flight as usual in bomber missions, same fuel, same bomb load etc. just quirky indeed. |

1. all airfields on the map dont act as airfields unless they have the white field icon, you cant link to land etc, ai will go to a field that has a white icon and ignore landing instructions.
2. once landed at field all planes will disappear as if on a carrier, just lands, taxis to clear runway and blinks off screen, even if field has clear taxi ways etc with white taxi paths. 3. due to realistic terrain there are some fields that ai cant make the landing happen, wau wont allow a c-47 to land due to collision with nearby hills, plane can come in low in valley but when making approach it circles and hits hills. Beautiful terrain but quirky to build on.. anyone have similar problems or ideas..? |

Yes I tried runways 4-6 some made them land in the parking area or into the trees and I set it to blue properties
Betty can't keep up when human flown overheats to quickly even at 75 power and same pitch rad 4 etc, dropped to 280 and ok Will check with I spawn etc when I get home Wau waypoints were 1200 at waypoint before final set for straight in so circled anyway and eventually crashes Salamua also makes planes spawn off the field in a swamp there is only 1 point on that field but it to works as taxi to take off. |
