That would be nice, to be honest..

I do not remember, but shouldn`t the Manoeuvrability of the fighters change when you upgrade your Pilots?

After installing this Real SW 2 it does not change. Speed of the fighters changes though.

I had extracted all files, copy/pasted them in my SW2/Data folder, overwrote everything when asked, as it says in the instructions. Do the folders AND files need to be overwritten, or just the folders?

It stands in Real SW 2 .readme:

Die Installation geht ganz einfach. Star Wolves 2 muss OHNE jeglichen Patch oder MOD installiert sein.
Den Ordner DATA aus der Datei Real_SW2_MODV2.00.rar in den Hauptordner des Spiels kopieren und
das Überschreiben der Dateien mit JA beantworten.

Edit: Oh, and this Real SW 2 mod is great, adds a life to SW 2 space!
