Because it's crashing on the very early part of the initialization I'm going to assume it's something to do with maybe the video subsystem.
ChurroBurro, what are your computer specs and maybe more importantly what video card and driver versions are installed right now? I'm guessing if we were to watch from the Task Manager we'd see il2fb.exe come up briefly, take up some memory, not respond and then crash hard.

Hey everyone, sorry for not being active here. I have reinstalled 4 times now, and I installed steam in C:/steam so that all my game will be placed in there. Still does the same thing... I have verified and no corrupted files. I am running on windows 7 with Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 with Intel(R) Core (TM) i5-3210M CPU @2.50 GHz 64 bit. I am starting to get really annoyed, Someone please help me. Thanks!!!

And also, I just checked, and yes, IL2fb.exe does come up for about 1/2 a second and then just goes away...
