The MOD comunity respect and dont tounch in FM, guns... they are rigth, this things must be a stardart and ONLY 1C can do this, but the "standart" need fixes, why dont do this work? Do you think we will not buy SOW?

There's more than one MOD website and more than 1 MOD pack available with modified guns and FM.

The mods is your best chance for any Il2 changes from here out. Oleg may finally clean up the 4.09 release, but that would be the extent of it.

One mod dev has actually been modifying AI performance, which should be an indicator that mod devs are learning. They are doing more and more with IL2 code.

Then of course you must remember this. Without the guiding hand of Oleg the online game as we have enjoyed it will be shattered with mods.

I know this thread is a just chit-chat, but Oleg barely released the 4.9 incomplete. It should be clear not to expect anything more from IL2.

We'uns that have been around for the ride (Il2 1.0 thru IL2 1946) enjoyed some fun times when Oleg was putting out anxiously awaited addons and patches. Those were great days....you could always look forward to something better. Oleg never disappointed us.
