Regardless of rights and wrongs the mods are now here to stay, like it or not.

Why can everyone agree to live and let die, move on and respect another persons views..

I think this has now go to a point that several people (no names etc) have painted themselves into corners that they cannot get out of, or be seen to have changed their minds.
Some do and credit to them for saying so, but how many 'rightous ones' are registered over on AAA with Alias's so as not to be idenified??

Except that you can view every thing without needing to register Only to download the unmitigated evil you need to be registered. But none of those there righteous people would do something as disgusting as that now would they?

Nice try, but looking at whats beeing done doesnt really cut the mustard does it.

How do u think i know most of the new fires (buildings) and smokes for ex is a real FPS killer. Drop a couple of bombs over a city whith those "masterpieces" and wach your pc blow up

A squad mate of mine uses all the special effects, with his 9800GX2 (his system is very similar to mine), without any significant FPS drop. So no, not FPS killer. FPS killer? Get yourself a better computer.

Again, as said many times. Give it up. This is bullshit. Nothing is being gained from it is it? No. All this constant arguing is doing is creating more of a rift than the mods have or ever will do.

Ehhhh, so 1 squadmate of yours with 9800GX2 runs this 7 year old (yes, 7) game without ALMOST no FPS drop when using thees new effects masterpieces, is that right?

What my specs are is kind of irrelevant, not everyone runs the same rig your 1 squadmate is.



My point beeing: its easy making new eyecandy stuff without having to worrie about anything eccept how it LOOKS....and not even that is done right most of the times.

Does all the mods suck? No, i would say about 35% euqals what it is supose to replace (orginal) and about 5-10% exceeds it (orginal)....cockpitrepaints for ex.

The rest? Well its plain....new, nothing more, nothing less.

But you know what, I'm not going to pull into your little debate BS - which I must ask though, whats the point in even spouting that? What do you hope to achieve. Your computer can't run it? As I said, buy a new one. If you are really that determined not to use it (which can I say, by your actions you've basically done what a lot of anti-mod users are saying, in that you broke the law by even downloading them ) - what does it matter?
