Using an 8800 GTS (G92) 512mb.....and yes smoke and water flicke, as do the airfields....all with latest dll.

174.74....
8800 GT OC 512:
174.74 is what I stick with. I have tried most of them and including the ones I dld last week which had loads of texture flicker/defect. None were as clean as 174.74 and incidentially none were an improvement in FPS nor visual quality. Try the 174.74. Note that periodically even the 174.74 exibit a minute bit of flicker but it is rare and less than any other I have tried. None of the drivers are flawless some are significantly less so. PEACE
