4.09 ?

my semi informed opinion is that 4.09 will be out before xmass 08 for sure, we'll see if i am right or not soon enough

my speculation is based on a few posts i saw on some of the major il2 forums in the lat few weeks, indicating some people had supplied new skins etc to be included with the 4.09 patch, and they had a fixed deadline to submit them, end of november i think.

i might be reading to much into those posts, but i think it fits in with some of olegs previous released files, and he might want to meet the xmass deadline.

time will tell

Don't forget, more than a year passed between the last skins deadline and their eventual implementation in 4.09b....

I'm seeing 2 4.09 servers on Xfire now

Stopped using Hyper-lobby because I kept getting high ping warning with the servers, after I switch to Xfire none of those problems arisen.

And I can see all the raw server data on xfire and frag scores and other info what side some-one is playing.

Were-as Hyper-lobby you don't see that.

the only problem with the new maps for me on the 4.09b servers is Im only getting 15 to 28 fps.

GF_Mastiff you can see them there you just have to look for them.

Im getting 30+ FPS and im not in SLI
Btw we were not sure when 1c is going to release 4.09 so we went ahead and made a temp dedicated server for the 4.09b users. Not sure what the orig Devs think of this. Im curious to find out.
