That it was.
These Hurricanes are survivors of 85's involvement in the French campaign. Their white/black bellies have been repainted with Sky or a mixed Sky and they are really shopworn. Last edited by leitmotiv; 11-22-2008 at 01:36 PM. |

Here's another pic from 85 Squadron probably taken at Castle Camps in July 1940. Only one pilot in the picture survived WW2. Three were killed during the BoB.

Will Aircrew clothing be modelled correctly?
The RAF was informal as to flight clothing but basic kit was the same. The LW were similar and allowed 'Private Purchase' leather jackets for fighter pilots. A large topic if you search. Just a thought. |
