If you are playing a mage then yes the two you have are the best. It does not matter if you keep saying no to more children. As a mage it shouldnt take long for intelligence to be over 25, in time it will become a larger bonus than +5. It is the same with mana, in time +30% will become much larger than any item that directly adds mana.
