10? More like 100... I had her till the end of the game ... first time I waited for 20 or 30 battles as I didn't pay attention to it and just waited, then I was impatient and checked her more frequently (then I spoke with her more often and we always agreed to have a child).

So yes, I have waited for 10 battles, at least 10 times.
