yes that is as much 'curve' the ingame settings allow- however are you hitting APPLY after setting them? hitting back resets to what you had before.

Other than that the only thing I can think of is possibly some external program (DXTweak??) might enable you to set a higher curve- don't have any experience of this tho

TF is a good way to go, it does improve many aspects of the sim, and if you wish to fly online I believe most servers need this to be installed for you to be able to connect.

#5 is done usually by some 'clever programming' of joystick_ I'm sure Sokol1 will be along shortly to explain this far better than I can.
