Assign keys like Alt+1, Alt+2... Alt+5 to functions "Manned Position #1, Manned Position #2... in View section.

1st = pilot
2st = bombardier if available in plane or if not rear gunner
3rd = nose gunner if available in plane
Etc...

And if you are in top gunner position (or another) and need go back to pilot position, go to bombardier first to avoid leave this gunner inoperative.

Flying a bomber, I have to cycle all the gunners' positions to go to the bombardier view.
Seems that you are using "Previous Manned Position" instead "Next Manned Position" because if used the last command the next position after pilot is bombardier.

Note: the keys assigned in above screen are personal preference, check in your game.
The "Next/Previous Manned Position" commands are away from each other, I did some cut and past to exemplify.

The command "Change Manned Position" alternates between actual gunner/navigator/bombardier position and pilot position.
Perhaps useful to jump from bombardier to pilot and back.
Note: to go for bombardier position the first time need use another command like "Manned position #2" or "Next Manned Position".
