Oh nonono sorry sorry, I mean the textures. I use kegetys for the backgrounds, so I know how to use it and how it works, BUT, I don't know how to properly set the root of the mod. I just know I have to put it in my game folder, call it whatever I want, but that's it. I'm guessing it's for example Desert/$bob/ and I don't know how it follows

That's it??? No mod/$bob/maps... thing? I just create a folfer in my game folder, call it whatever I want and drop inside it MAPMODS folder??? (Yes, I know how to do the shortcut thing)

I mean it's obvious, how could it possibly work? It has to be:
My game folder /Desert(that's the name I chose) /$bob (or $core) /maps? I don't know how it follows. Remember this is a mod originaly for IL2 1946, so the readme is useless
