To make the game work at higher resolution than my monitor could do, I used this little tutorial:

I had it running at 2560x1440. The videocard is not very happy. It started showing some artifacts.
Those last ones are all messed up. I had the FXAA off.

I got an upate to my media player today and part of it was an updated youtube client. As a test I played through a couple of Cliffs of Dover videos (By Phobos???) on my 47" HD TV.

They were absolutely fantastic. At one stage my kids asked if they were real!

One of Olegs goals was to make CoD as photorealistic as possible for a CFS.

He succeeded as far as I'm concerned.

Cheers!

Notoced while playing the Stuka third party campaign.Campaigns sort of force me to fly all the way home regardless.Anyway I picked up a bit of flak or sharpnel, over target which killed or wounded ( well he did look dead) over target.Streaming petrol ,I decided not to linger over target & managed to join in with my mates for cross Channel return- we were harried by quite a few Spitfires across the moat, but somehow landed at the correct aerodrome.Taxied over to an interseting part of the field & parked. Now the surprising part was what I spotted from exterior view:

Yes I was leaking petrol...this was a new discovery to me...a nice little touch that endears me to the sim, although quite frankly the pilot( me) should have switched off & exited the aircraft briskly ( if only it was possible to exit the aircraft on the ground...sigh..)
More shots of this neatly populated part of the field( screenshots in CloD are difficult to resist aren't they?)

Thanks. I now have head movements and greater detail

I'll have to reduce my 'weathering' setting.
