which means units immune to mind spells cant be shackled and all undead are immune to those spells. Remove mind_immunity part of string there and whoala necros can be shackled, problem solved. Have fun
That can't be right. I shackle skeletons all the time to keep them from hitting me in the face.

Me too. But maybe skeletons aren't actually getting the full benefit of mind immunity. I wonder if they can be blessed or not. I've seen them blessed by skalds, but maybe that is because paean is special. Never had one in my army so I haven't tried.

Either way, something is probably going on with shackles, undead mind immunity, or both. And has shackles always been a mind spell? I always thought it was an arcane affect, but I guess I could see where it just makes you "think" you can't use your abilities.

Check to see if necromancers have unlisted 'persistence of mind' effect. Archmages have it, and I believe makes them immune to shackling as well.

I bet they do, and I bet that is what is causing them to be untargetable.

All the checking up has too wait until I get home from work, but out of curiosity you didn’t have any issues shackling necromancers?

We've been talking about it a bit in the patch fixes thread, and it definitely looks like you can't shackle Necromancers (all other undead seem doable tho').
