Menu is still working so the game is still properly running though. Isn't an crash.

In my case it were 2 zombies blocking the route to the gift.

Gift of Odin ability for the War Maiden's doesn't seem to always work. I've no idea exactly why... perhaps there is a leadership cap on it or something?

Was it when you were fighting something with a nonstandard counterattack, like berserkers? They don't seem to follow the normal counterattack rules. Also, sometimes the tooltip will indicate a counterattack when it doesn't actually happen.
