I don't think BoM needs ranking. It need some fun gameplay options to make it fun! I want some various mission types:

recon: snap photos for bombers, call out enemy movements.
transport: resupply troops, ammo, and fuel for planes on the ground to support a moving frontlines.
rescue: Fly to downed/crashed pilots to save them.

Stuff like this would go a long way playing online with hundreds of other people to go with the already solid number of fighters and bombers.
