game will not start any more

I too have a problem with the game starting after patching.

1.05 works fine.I have not tried any betas until now.

I have downloaded the patch twice.Once from the torrent and another from a direct link.

I have used Winrar and 7zip.I have extracted to both a separate folder and copied and pasted and also direct extraction to the IL2 folder.I have let it overwrite everything.

I have deleted the contents of the cache folder.

Everytime when I click on the launcher.exe(in the IL2 folder.I also have "run as administrator" checked)) I get a Windows message that the launcher has stopped working.I never get to the orange reticle.It worked fine with 1.05.

I am running W7 64 bit and an ATI 6850.

Like I said I have been running the last official version with no problem and this is my first attempt at a RC(beta) patch.It looks like I will wait for the official Steam release.
