Hello,

I had a similiar problem just now. When attempting to launch the game the reticle icon appeared, my steam status showed me playing the game for a few seconds until it disappeared and nothing happened. I've heard some other people experiencing this too.

For me the fix was to run "dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64" which reinstalled NetFramework4, found in clod folder\redist\DotNetFx40_Client\. The problem seemed to appear out of nowhere so I hope it won't return... But its good for now!

specs:
Win7 64-bit sp1
AMD Phenom II X4 955 ~3.2GHz
4Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5770

I tried that but the installer said that it was already installed.

It should give the option to "reinstall" or "repair" it. It could be that our problems are caused by different things, but good luck anyway!
