Force10 is lying when he says that I would say the radio commands are all functioning fine

And for those who may doubt it, take note that Force10 fail to provide a link to a quote of me saying that

This is a typical tactic of his sort, where they don't have a leg to stand on wrt to their arguments, so they have to resort to one of two things

1) Attack the messenger
2) Flat out lie

In this case Force10 is going with case 2

There are plenty of things wrong with CoD that need fixing, which I have said many times!

The fact that Force10 and his lot have to resort to lies speaks volumns about how weak thier arguments are

Good bye. Good luck to those that persevere.
I especially like that last part...Welcome back!

As only the "haters" get admonished for their behavior and others are allowed to continue to chant the party line in less than polite fashion, instead of locking this thread as was suggested earlier, why not lock the friggin forum and be done with it?

There are no haters here, haters would have gone long ago.

What we have here are more or less misguided lovers of CoD only.

Or those of us that long ago accepted that this is going to be a loooong road without a perfect ending.

Have to agree robtek, but why have so many been misguided.

patience, simply those with more patience

if 1c/MG are still working on patches (albeit very slowly) and are also working on a sequel (which process has to address most CoD faults/complaints at the same time) then it means the ship is still going forward, and we have hope of a fixed/working product at the end of this process. at least somebody is doing SOMETHING to fix it and produce a working product. since they cant row faster then they currently are (with their limited team), constantly throwing beer cans and insults at them is rather counter productive.

one thing many people here seem to forget is that there are so many current problems in CoD exactly because it was such an ambitious project, and it is the depth and complexity of the game and gfx engine at the heart of the sim that is creating these multiple problems. personally i am happier that they overshot their mark with great ambition, rather then have them produce some dumbded down and limited product (which would have been easier to make).

in the other camp we have the same small clique of whiners and haters (and the odd new lost spotty faced tween who wonders in) who seem to believe that yelling loudly or constantly whining will magically solve things, and those same people are NOT seen providing constructive feedback in bug report threads or participation in reasoned debated to try and improve things.

the one aspect that blame can be correctly given to luthiers team, even if we know that they have limited resources and people, is that there isnt some hierarchy in priority bug fixes being addressed that deal with gameplay bugs that can be relatively easily fixed (and which would significantly reduce the volume of complaints), eg the "lack of COOP" issue, AI team commands, some specific control/instrument issues in some planes, lack of AI ground activity at airfields, allow some basic campaign function offline/online etc..

Well if you feel that way you could always leave and not come back... I mean if you hate this forum so much?
