Luthier and team should have learned by now not to make any predictions for timing of future patch releases or nature of performance increases. They are immediately construed as deadlines and promises by too many people.

Better to say 'we're working hard on X/Y/Z,' and then just make an announcement when they are ready.

Underpromise, overdeliver.

Hey Simast... How does CLOD run on that SSD?

I am looking at the Intel Cherryville 520 240GB SSD

I am not Simast obviously but I have the O/S on one SSD and games on another and it great!

I have an old Kingston SSD, which apparently has a bit flawed controller. And the thing keeps "locking" from time to time for a couple of seconds (garbage collecting something). Anyway, I think the issue is only with SSDs with early controllers..

As for performance - I haven't noticed any improvements beside faster loading (compared to 7200 HDD).
