Also some of the flak guns now have tracers. Bombers too, which is a welcome addition. Now flak must improve its precision, today it's a joke.

Unhappy

Installed the game by the rules after coming home from Duxford where I saw an airshow with real ww2 aircraft. Was very excited to be able fly the 109 and spit with a lot of the bugs removed in the game after seeing them for real.

However (after reverting my game from the beta patch to the last official patch) somehow my version number remains 1.05. Online flying on servers like ATAG has become impossible.

Does anyone know a solution that doesn't require me being a programming expert and doesn't delete all my game files?

Edit: This problem has been solved

S!

While this patch for sure had advances there were also steps back. This tree thing is a clear step backwards. I did not have problems with them in last beta, kept them at Medium which provided nice looks without sacrifice in performance and they appeared right. Now they pop up and out around your plane at low altitude flying. Higher up outside this "LOD sphere" it does not happen so visibly. And I can tell never happened before. I could live with trees from RoF in this case rather than with these automagically appearing and disappearing ones

Nicely put, Flanker. And that's a word that should be added to the dictionary

I could live with the old IL2 type trees I know they where not very nice in group but individualy yes and you die with a collision between the plane and the tree. And visualy it was not bad at all only if the you did fly under the level of the top of the forest was it strange but not for long. If it is a solution maybe give us the forest of IL2 1946 back !?.
IL2 is a nice serie of games or better of simulations kep up the wonderful work.

Tree issues and fps drop, with the same graphical issues with particle effects. Not much to smile about here. Maybe we get something workable by Christmas.

Christmas? ok but Christmas that year? 2013, 2014?
in my case I have not seen change in performance.
