if power consumption is a concern its hard to beat the 600 series.
And nvidia cards have always worked better for il2 so no brainer there. May be best to wait and see what the final version of the game needs before buying or modding your build. Silly to try to buy hardware to get Cliffs of Bugfest to work right in its current form.
